I am making progress on “Modern Lily”. The top is finished and quilting is in progress. For the lily, I used the bias applique technique developed by Debbie Griftka of Esch House Quilts with a lot of hands on help from Lynn Harris (of The Little Red Hen). Thank you both so much.

Wow. It’s beautiful. I can’t wait to see it in person!!!!
It looks wonderful! I love the simple frame borders with the elegance of the lily. I know your quilting will add another layer of beauty. Can’t wait to see it!
I like how you’ve pared this down to a minimalist color palette. Very nice!
Amazing!! How are you quilting it?
It’s looking great! Can’t wait to see it as you make progress with the quilting. There is so much you can do. Can you tell me more about the bias applique technique? Can you share a link to the information? I looked at the web site you mentioned, but couldn’t find any information. Thx!
Cheryl;
Debbie’s Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop/EschHouseQuilts?ref=em offers several patterns that use this techinque. Take a look at ‘An Evergreen Bias’ it comes in a PDF version or a printed copy. I hope this helps.
